How to align bullets with text in CSS using ul li

I've been going back and forth with searching and testing on how to align horizontally graphic bullets with text in CSS..

this is my code:

I can't figure it out as I tried changing the li with no luck.. is here a syntax error that I can't spot?

How to fix your Wacom Intuos4 pen stylus

Yesterday my wacom pen stylus just fell from my hand right onto the tip. I don't know how it slipped but the button jumped and I could see through the button holes the PCB. I unscrewed the pen tip and removed the rubber grip. I cleaned it on the inside from collected dust (just like you would get with the wheel mouse), and put everything back in.
To put everything back in I started with the rubber grip which slided over the plastic pen, then put the button back into the holes and pressed gently until I heard a click which meant the buttons became stable. At last I screwed the pen tip back and now my pen it's functioning normal. If there are people clumsy like me hope this post will help you solve your problem. I added a photo to visualize it better :) Good luck everyone!

how to distort a text in illustrator 5

Hi I need help with fitting a text in a trapeze perspective shape, but I can't figure it out how to do it.. I'm looking for the same effect that the Photoshop transform distort tool does.. I spent hours looking at tutorials, and I can't find the right one as the text is not keeping the perspective nor the spaces between the letters.. any suggestions? I tried the shear tool, also I outlined the text, created a bounding box around the text, grouped the two then selected the free transform tool, dragged the corner, hold ctrl to adjust the text to the shape and it's taking forever to adjust the text to the shape with a sloppy result that takes an awful amount of time.. I'm under pressure right now as I need to get this sorted quick... In other words I would really appreciate any sort of help..

Francezii au facut niste sapaturi arheologice si au gasit la vreo 50 m
adancime resturi de fire de cupru. Dupa ce au fost cercetate cu atentie de

1. Pentru a va pregati sa deveniti mama, imbracati un halat de baie si fixati-va pe burta un sac plin cu fasole. Dupa 9 luni, scoateti doar 10% din continutul sacului! Pentru tatici: fugiti repede la farmacie, goliti-va portofelul pe tejghea si invitati farmacistul sa se serveasca. Dupa aceea, mergeti la supermarket si cereti ca salariul dvs sa fie varsat direct in contul magazinului.

2. Pentru a avea o idee despre cum va veti petrece serile, intre orele 17h si 22h parcurgeti in lung si in lat sufrageria purtând in brate un sac umed care cântareste intre 4 si 6 kg. La ora 22h lasati sacul, reglati desteptatorul la 00h00 si mergeti la culcare. La miezul noptii, treziti-va si parcurgeti din nou sufrageria purtând sacul timp de o ora. Reglati desteptatorul la ora 3h00. Imposibil sa mai adormiti, evident, asa ca treziti-va la ora 02.00 si serviti-va ceva de baut.Intoarcerea in pat la 2h45. Când suna desteptatorul, un sfert de ora mai târziu, trezirea! Cântati cântecele de leagan pâna la ora 4h00. Reglati desteptatorul la 5h00.Treziti-va si preparati micul dejun. Mentineti acest ritm timp de 5 ani...fara sa va pierdeti buna dispozitie!

3. Goliti un pepene si practicati in mijloc o gaura de talia unei mingi de golf. Suspendati-l de tavan cu o sfoara si balansati-l de la stânga la dreapta. Dintr-o farfurie cu supa (foarte lichida) incercati sa hraniti "pepenele" (care e in miscare), jucându-va de-a avionul cu o lingurita. Continuati exercitiul pâna când farfuria e pe jumatate golita, varsati restul... pe genunchii dvs... Bravo! acum stiti sa hraniti un bebelus! Pentru a avea o idee despre ceea ce se va intâmpla când va incepe sa mearga, etalati dulceata pe canapea si pe perdele, disimulati un pic de peste congelat in spatele televizorului si lasati-l acolo timp de o luna sau doua...

4. Imbracatul celor mici nu e chiar o formalitate. Incepeti prin a cumpara o caracatita si o plasa pentru peste. Incercati sa introduceti caracatita in plasa. Timp prevazut: toata dimineata.

5. Nu sperati ca veti mai avea o masina curata si stralucitoare ca in ziua când ati cumparat-o. Cumparati o inghetata de vanilie si uitati-o in cutia de pe bord. Introduceti o moneda in casetofon (sau CD player).Sfarâmati un pachet de biscuti sau de ciocolata pe scaunele din spate. In final, zgâriati fiecare portiera cu un cui.Perfect!

6. Mergeti la supermarket insotiti de ceva care se apropie cel mai mult de un copil mic: o capra adulta de preferinta. Daca intentionati sa aveti mai multi copii, folositi mai multe capre. Faceti cumparaturile fara sa le scapati din ochi si platiti fara comentarii tot ceea ce au distrus.

7. Repetati de cel putin 5 ori tot ceea ce spuneti.

8. O ultima recomandare: inainte de a face copii, vizitati-va prietenii care au deja. Criticati din plin metoda lor de educatie, lipsa lor de rabdare sau de autoritate. Permiteti-va sa le dati sfaturi asupra orei de culcare, olitei, lipsa bunelor maniere la masa etc. Intr-un cuvânt: ajutati-i sa-si rezolve problemele si, in acelasi timp, profitati bine de situatie: este ultima oara când detineti solutiile....

Cică domnul prim ministru plecase să taie panglica la câţiva kilometri de autostradă. Uitându-se pe geamul maşinii, vede la marginea drumului doi amărâţi care frământau chirpici cu picioarele goale.
Intrigat de ceea ce vede, domnul prim ministru opreşte maşina şi îi întreabă pe cei doi:
- Măi, oameni buni, nu vă este ruşine de faceţi nenorocirea asta de chirpici, într-o ţară membră a Uniunii Europene, care tocmai a reuşit, sub îndrumarea FMI, să se macrostabilizeze? Ce-i înapoierea asta? Ce faceţi cu amestecul ăsta oribil de bălegar, paie şi noroi?
- Domnule prim ministru, răspunde unul dintre indivizi, nu-l facem pentru noi. Îl exportăm în Federaţia Rusă.

Wordpress 3.3.1 custom fields

For those like me which struggle with the new wordpress 3.3.1 settings for the custom fields, read this.

When you go to pages, on the right upper side you will see a tab with a dropdown menu called "Screen Options".. Yes you're right that's where the page attributes, custom fields etc are..

What I still can't find is the template under the page attributes but I do see the parent and order.. if anyone can help please drop in a line..

Found the problem and embarrassing enough my path for the template was wrong.. I moved the template file to the /wp-content/themes

After I read few articles looks like the "Stop Online Piracy Act" SOPA and "PROTECT IP Act" PIPA it's happening.. The US government wants to shut people up as the freedom of speech we have today is too much to take in since the Wikileaks event. They will try by any means to take action against us, as now WE are a threat to them by having access to the online information. They want to take over the most effective free form of communication we have today, The INTERNET. They want to control it under a noble disguise act against piracy. This will not only censure every thing we do on the internet, but will allow them to have full control over it on an international level which will empower the US government to take legal actions and imprison people under this act. Hollywood and Universal Music amongst other big corporation had offered their support. Now Google, Twitter and Facebook are against it, but sadly enough they didn't take part at the Blackout on Wednesday (18 Jan 2012) with Wikipedia, Reddit, Mozilla, Cheezburger, Wordpress and many other websites which are still wearing the black tag "stop SOPA" as part of their support to this movement against the new act.. The internet freedom of speech we have today could be changed by a dictatorial internet censorship, if we allow SOPA to be implemented.

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), or H.R.3261, is a pending bill geared toward preempting U.S. property theft by promoting creativity and innovation. SOPA was introduced to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives in October of 2011. Yesterday Megaupload a big online upload website got closed for piracy. The feds push the SOPA in front with the Megaupload case implication to the online piracy. What they missed out intentionally is to explain the full extent of implication this act will have over the common internet user. The website Megaupload got closed overnight as the feds arrested the site operators including the founder Kim Dotcom (aka Kim Schmitz) and confiscated their goods.

USA. We have Swedish roots and a swedish friend said this:

They want to make the internet inte a one way pipe, with them at the top, shoving trash through the pipe down to the

To fix the "problem of piracy" one should go to the source of the problem. The entertainment industry say they're

movies and tv shows that make them think that they're fat.

In the great Sid Meiers computer game Civilization you can build Wonders of the world. One of the most powerful ones
is Hollywood. With that you control all culture and media in the world. Rupert Murdoch was happy with MySpace and had
no problems with their own piracy until it failed. Now he's complainting that Google is the biggest source of piracy
in the world - because he's jealous. He wants to retain his mind control over people and clearly you'd get a more
honest view of things on Wikipedia and Google than on Fox News.

Some facts (years, dates) are probably wrong in this press release. The reason is that we can't access this information
when Wikipedia is blacked out. Because of pressure from our failing competitors. We're sorry for that.

This is something to contemplate about since Julian Assange has tried to brings light to the hidden or obscure illegal deeds our governments do, and he became a target. SOPA and PIPA only try to bury what should be transparent to all and punish those that want to unveil the truth. They want us under their microscope.

Wordpress 3.3.1 permalinks bug

I was customizing a theme in the latest Wordpress version 3.3.1. I wanted to set the permalinks from an early start to date and name and I got an error message:

Not Found

The requested URL /2012/01/19/bla/ was not found on this server

After googling a bit it seems like in the htaccess file the rewrite rules are the problem as they are trying to turn the URL into variables for the wp_query system. I tested it myself and the rules in the php file change once I switch to a different permalink option and I'm asked to click yes or no. Of course for the sake of SEO I wanted the date and name in my permalink, but apparently according to the post below the Search Engine Research Page will not rate the URL as it will be seen as old. So performance wise if a permalink setting it's stating with a number the wordpress system will not triggering a flag to create a rule enhancing the permalink and slowing down the URL. I haven sorted out what seems to be the problem that makes only the default setting work but in the mean time I will stick to this one for testing and after I will see what I can do to my permalinks for the website.

Some friends keep on telling me how fun is the Dance Central 2 game (for Xbox).. now I want to buy it, but I was surprised in an unpleasant way by the prices in store and online.. it's ridiculous to pay 34.99 for a game.. does it comes with anything at all at this price? NO. I was browsing randomly on Amazon right after the Christmas and I've seen it for 18.99 brand new.. I looked it up again now that I want it.. gone.. now at 24.99 is the lowest I could find.. still I think it's a rip off.. so no game for me yet..

Mobile websites not functional

I started to get really frustrated when I access a website from a phone or tablet as the website lacks the full functionality and most of the times I can't even go to where I intended as the time to get me there is longer then on regular websites and I completely lose interest to use the website.. why does it have to be set by default to mobi website? the main problem for me is when some websites don't even offer the possibility to switch to the full website in order to navigate to a certain page, article or product... I'm totally against mobi websites if there is no other option presented!

NYE in London 2011-2012

I've been to other countries for New Year's Eve, but London is by far the worst on the entertainment chapter for this particular day. It's pretty much non-existent.. Where are the live shows and the concerts.. the food stalls, the events? Where are the all night long fireworks in the whole city to make the night seem day? What is the mayor doing? 10 minutes of fireworks only in the center with radio, come on Radio BBC to entertain the crowds!! Even the Romans knew better on this chapter and this was centuries ago.. haven't we learnt anything? The masses need food and a good show!! What is there to do on the streets in London on the NYE?? Nothing! Squeeze like sardine and freeze from an early time for a disappointing night.. Now I'm asking, does it really worth the trouble? For London this is not something to be very proud of, as everyone living here, will advice you to DON'T go!

Power of Organizing Christmas Day

Since I like having my friends around me I often choose to organize the parties for us. This time around the Christmas gathering is one of them. I bought all the food, everyone is informed where and when to come. I sorted out the music for this evening, the movie, the menu and I got all the confirmations for who is coming, plus the sleep overs. I got my red outfit sorted and since is Christmas we will all play a gift game where we will all leave home with something to remember and hopefully a good portion of laughter. I'm pretty excited about the whole day as for me is more about the togetherness then anything else. Today the food should arrive. The presents are wrapped, the tree is decorated, I just need to do some cleaning. Counting days left :)

What is an Au Pair?

Guidelines for Au Pairs and Host Families participating in the BAPAA Au Pair Programme in Britain. Other countries have similar programmes - see "Go Abroad as an Au Pair".

Individual families or agencies may wish to improve on these benefits, but these should be offered as a minimum.

Nature of the Programme: The au pair programme is a cultural exchange programme. Au pairs must be welcomed as a member of the family.

Age: Traditionally, an au pair is aged 17 – 27, however an au pair without visa requirements (from EU) can be older.

Hours on duty: Au pairs can be on duty from 25 – 35 hours per week if they are from an EU country. This is limited to 25 hours per week and 2 evenings per week if the au pair is from Bulgaria or Romania. These hours can be spread out over 5 days per week. Longer hours are usually referred to as ‘au pair plus’. Many au pair agencies also offer ‘Mother’s help’ positions; this is not part of the traditional cultural exchange programme, as it usually involves longer hours and schedules can conflict with language classes.

Pocket Money: Pocket money must be minimum £70 per week for 25 hours, regardless of whether the minimum hours are worked. Many agencies recommend slightly higher pocket money. For 30 hours the minimum is £85.

Babysitting: Two evenings babysitting per week are included as part of the programme. Additional pocket money should be paid for any additional evenings.

Leisure time: The au pair’s schedule must provide sufficient time to attend language school, and the au pair shall receive two free days each week and should be offered one full weekend off per month.

Holidays: As from September 2010, BAPAA recommends 28 days holiday per 12 month period, including Public Holidays. Pocket money will be paid during this time. To calculate the holiday entitlement for less than a year, or for someone helping less than 5 days a week, click this useful link. The au pair should not be forced to take holiday to coincide with the family holiday. Holidays should be mutually agreed between host family and au pair.

UK Public Holidays: These are included in the recommended holiday and au pairs can either be given the day off or have a day off in lieu as part of their holiday allowance.

Light Housework: A list of suggested light housework tasks can be found below these guidelines.

Childcare: An au pair is not permitted to have continuous sole charge of children under the age of two.

Travelling Costs: The au pair is required to pay their own travelling cost to and from the UK, unless the family chooses to fund this.

Insurance: EU au pairs visiting the UK do not need additional health insurance as they are entitled to use the National Health Service. The au pair may also wish to take out additional travel insurance to cover loss of belongings, repatriation in case of accident, death etc.

Language School and Costs: Au pairs must be given enough time to attend language school. There are many courses in the UK for EU members, which are more affordable due to government funding. These are usually ESOL classes. If an au pair chooses to go to a private school, they must bear their own cost, unless the family offers to fund this.

Written Offer: Each agency shall ensure that the au pair receives a written offer from the family covering pocket money, holidays and what help would be expected.

The host family: Each agency shall ensure that the family is suitable to host an au pair and understands the nature of the au pair programme, and that the au pair is there to help the family and is not in charge of the house.

in perspectiva anilor electorali viitori, Puterea de la Bucuresti a decis sa reinstituie, prin lege, eutanasierea cainilor comunitari, ceea ce va insemna o afacere electorala de peste 300 de milioane de euro. De ce? Pentru ca experientele alegerilor din 2004 incoace au scos la iveala un “necesar” de 100 de milioane de euro pentru fiecare campanie elecorala. Asadar, localele si parlamentarele din 2012, dar si prezidentialele din 2013 ar fi asigurate pe pielea bietilor catei. O miza de asemenea anvergura mobilizeaza exemplar fortele portocalii din Guvern si din Parlamentul Romanei, in incercarea disperata de a adopta proiectul legislativ PLX nr.912/2007, modificat, la Camera decizionala, prin introducerea eutanasierii. Proiectul mortii se va supune votului marti, 7 iunie 2011, in plenul Camerei Deputatilor.

In scopul justificarii formale a fondurilor de 300 de milioane de euro, pretinse de la Bugetul de stat, s-a recurs la tot felul de stratageme . Spre exemplu, deputatul PDL Stefan Pirpiliu, a declarat, intr-o dezbatere televizata, organizata de postul “10TV”, ca, in judetele din jurul Capitalei, ar exista 500 000 de caini in strada. Un alt portocaliu, prefectul Bucurestilor, Mihai Atanasoaei, pretinde ca numarul cainilor comunitari din oras s-ar ridica la 100 000. Una peste alta, cifrele voit exagerate, vehiculate de autoritati si de acea mass media aservita Puterii, cu privire la populatia canina de pe teritoriul Romaniei, sunt de 10 , chiar de 20 de ori mai mari decat situatia de la fata locului. Asa se face ca, mai nou, in loc de cei 200 000 de caini fara stapan, existenti in realitate, presa manipulatoare si reprezentantii PDL vorbesc de 2 sau 4 milioane de caini comunitari! Mai departe, in privinta costurilor eutanasierii, inaintea intrarii in vigoare a legii nr.9/2008, unii primarii ai PDL raportau costuri medii ale eutanasierii unui caine de circa 100 de euro. Spre exemplificare, prezentam, schematic, cateva date obtinute de catre Federatia Nationala pentru Protectia Animalelor (FNPA) din orase administrate de PDL, ce dovedesc minciuna, exagerarea costurilor si ineficienta masurii de eutanasiere, adica tocmai afacerea frauduloasa cu caini ai strazii:

In 2001 erau aproximativ 40 000 de caini fara stapan.
In perioada 2001 – 2007 s-a declarat eutanasierea a 144 339 de caini!
In perioada 2001 – 2007 s-au cheltuit 9 milioane de euro pentru pretinsa eutanasiere.
In 2011 sunt aproximativ 40 000 caini comunitari, acelasi numar ca si in 2001.
REZULTATE: inca exista caini pe strada, in ciuda cheltuirii a 62de euro/caine eutanasiat!

BRASOV (adresa nr. 1172/11.05.2009 catre FNPA)
In 2001 erau 4 000 caini fara stapan.
In perioada 2003-2008 s-a mintit ca s-ar fi eutanasiat circa 20 000 caini.
In perioada 2003-2008 s-au cheltuit 1.45 milioane de euro cu pretinsa eutanasiere.
In prezent, sunt 4 000 caini fara stapan pe strazile orasului.
REZULTATE: inca sunt caini pe strada, desi s-a raportat cheltuirea a 72 de euro/caine eutanasiat!

ARAD (adresa nr.9386/17.03.2010 catre FNPA)
In perioada 2008 -2010 s-au eutanasiat 2 986 caini ( motivul:„boli incurabile”!!!).
In perioada 2008 – 2010 s-au cheltuit 308 048 de euro pentru eutanasiere.
REZULTATE: inca sunt caini pe strazi, chiar daca s-au cheltuit 103 de euro/caine eutanasiat!

SLATINA (adresa nr. 2/24.09.2010 catre FNPA)
In perioada 2008 – 2010 s-au eutanasiat 1 111 caini ( motivul:„boli incurabile”!!!).
In perioada 2008 – 2010 s-au cheltuit 205 500 euro pentru eutanasiere.

REZULTATE: inca sunt caini pe strada, cu toate ca s-au alocat 184 de euro/caine eutanasiat!

Pretinsele costuri ale eutanasierii ( aproximativ 100 de euro pentru un caine), inmultite cu pretinsul numar de caini fara stapan din Romania (in medie, 3 milioane), conduc la fabuloasa suma de 300 de milioane de euro! Iata cum se fura, „din condei”, fonduri bugetare, acoperitoare pentru trei campanii electorale! Inca o afacere oneroasa si criminala, de zeci si sute de milioane de euro, pe seama unor fiinte fara aparare! Amintiti-va de asa-zisele „gripa aviara” si „gripa porcina” sau de caii de la Letea!

Recently the Romanian government has came up with a law that brakes any animal rights law. They decided to do euthanasia to all stray dogs. This is outrageous as they haven't followed/applied any plan or form of reducing the number of stray dogs like sterilizing them, applying medicine to unhealthy dogs, let alone to secure shelter and food or run a national advertised program like give a dog a home. They received money for this cause and no one knows where they went. YES, they went straight for the KILL.
This people in the government have some sort of political or financial gain from this and for them this is only a strategic step to make them advance in their hidden agenda.. I'm Romanian living abroad and I'm furious with this law and the lack of scrupulous of our government and president.. our entire system it's corrupted to the bone!!

We must do something about it before it's too late!

1 December it is the day when all Romanians everywhere around the globe can show their patriotism.
This is a national Romanian holiday which celebrates the Great Union Day (Romanian: Ziua Marii Uniri, also called Unification Day) occurring on December 1. It commemorates the assembly of the delegates of ethnic Romanians held in Alba Iulia, which declared the Union of Transylvania with Romania.

This holiday was set after the 1989 Romanian Revolution and it marks the unification of Transylvania, but also of the provinces of Basarabia and Bucovina with the Romanian Kingdom, in 1918.

Prior to 1918, the national holiday of Romania was set to be on May 10, which had a double meaning: it was the day on which Carol I set foot on the Romanian soil (in 1866), and it was the day on which the prince ratified the Declaration of Independence (from the Ottoman Empire) in 1877.

The traditional song for this event is the so called Round Dance of Unification (Hora Unirii).

Emma West, 34, of New Addington, Croydon, was charged with a racially-aggravated public order offence, after an appeal by the British Transport Police to find the person at the centre of the incident aboard the tram.

A video published on YouTube showed a woman with a toddler on her knee apparently shouting abuse at ethnic minority passengers.

British Transport Police said they responded after the video was brought to their attention.

Today I went to the Romanian consulate for a document.. this sent be straight back.. the way these people handle customer service.. I felt as if I was disturbing them by asking to do their job.. on top they made grammar errors to my text that needed to be corrected.. the eyes rolling because I had the nerve to ask for a correction.. why do I take so long to read the text?? cos I needed to make sure it was correctly written!! they forgot to give me a receipt and when I asked for it they said they gave it to someone else.. huh?!?!? how is that possible??

I just joined UnlimitedWebHost.co.uk I'm starting to regret this, maybe because through comparison they are no way near the top class service provided by my previous provider FatCow, which was so good at delivering solutions in the shortest time.. now I get frustrated with the new host provider as it's been going on for 3 days to get help to set up the form mail. . they asked me the same questions over and over to hand them the fatcow script which I don't have and then they asked me to use some random script from google.. wtf.. why they don't support it by default like a normal web host provider?.. at FatCow was done and running in 30min.. it's getting on my nerves as UWH don't seem professional at all.. plus their control panel plesk it's so primitive and we are forced to use it.. no application it's installed and if you want to have it installed well you have to disable the php safety option, or else you get an error.. I'm starting to regret being with them and it's already my 3rd day with this provider.. it's time consuming to have to call for support for every little thing..
FatCow are the best but it's a shame their prices are a bit too high for my budget, but next time I will go back to them as the price vs quality brings all to balance..
Looks like regardless the downside of the high price as the rest it's first class service!! on the long run fatcow it's a better choice as they are fast, reliable and secure with professional staff which.. this will save one time and money!

Something I cooked not long ago.. some improvisation with chicken, turmeric, red peppers, carrots, green peas, chilly, tomato sauce, pepper and of course rice.. it was quite nice not because I made it, but because of the combination really worked :D and the second dish was green thai with wild rice made in Greece with some ingredients I brought from UK.. couldn't find all the veggies, but was just as nice :) and I love Thai food!!

I must give a negative review to 53am salon in Notting Hill, place which must be avoided. I went yesterday to have my hair restyled with a new fresh haircut. I got a voucher from Groupon for "Wash, Cut, Restyle, Blow Dry and Conditioning Treatment for £26 at 53am (Up to £75 Value)". The booking was done quickly. I received only the haircut and blow dry. Once there I asked for lots of layers and an inch cut of the length. Kate my hairdresser said layers can't be done on medium long hair so she just give me a trim. But really I always had layers and it can be done!! When she saw how unhappy I was at the end she cut something at the back. She was mute the whole time she cut my hair and ignored every time I asked her to give me layers. She didn't let me look at the back and home I’ve noticed I have a gap at the back of my head. I'm furious with them since this was meant to be a service given by a stylist not an amateurish hairdresser. I still want the haircut I went in for, but now on top I have to correct the gap she left at the back, so my hair will have to go shorter. I’m very disappointed with the service. Avoid Kate a tall red haired girl. I hope the rest of the staff are more considerate. The place looks a bit dirty and could use some floor and wall washing, plus a desk cleaning. The staff could be educated to be more service oriented and friendly and take into account the client's requests! AVOID this place!

ACAD. DINU GIURESCU DESPRE DESFIINŢAREA JUDEŢELOR ŞI NU NUMAI: „Statul de astăzi apără pe altcineva… nu România”

R. T.: Vă rog să-mi spuneţi cum priviţi această iniţiativă prin care conducerea Statului Român vrea să desfiinţeze judeţele actuale?

D.C. Giurescu: Această iniţiativă se înscrie într-un şir de acţiuni care sunt menite, pe de-o parte, să destrame unitatea teritorială a ţării şi, pe de altă parte, să şteargă identitatea noastră naţională.

Şi acuma noi vrem să desfiinţăm cu o trăsătură de pix toată această întocmire care are o vechime între 600 şi 700 de ani, intrată în conştiinţa mea. Nu-i aşa? Ce eşti dumneata? Eu sunt din Vlaşca, eu sunt din Argeş în primul rând, şi pe urmă evident că sunt din România, fiindcă Vlaşca şi Argeşul sunt parte din România. Ce facem? Şterg cu buretele, şterg cu pixul tot? Unde voi fi? Din regiunea 1, cetăţeanul cu codul numeric personal cutare, pe care îl înscriu cu două-trei semne acolo într-o listă, şi în felul acesta am robotizat întreaga Românie. Eu nu mai aparţin unui judeţ, nu mai aparţin României. Aparţin unor sigle, unor numere înscrise… E trist!

Aceasta desfiinţare a judeţelor, aceasta proiectată desfiinţare a judeţelor este mult mai gravă. Se înscrie într-un şir întreg de acţiuni menite să destrame teritorial România, şi să şteargă identitatea. Eu nu mai sunt român. Voi fi altceva. Voi fi un locuitor al unei regiuni europene. Or dacă le iau la bani mărunţi pentru mine, ca istoric, acesta este rezultatul. Nu uitaţi că aceste judeţe au sute de ani vechime, indiferent de faptul că s-au schimbat graniţele lor, mai mari sau mai mici, dar ele sunt intrate în conştiinţa mea.

R. T.: Atunci când în 1948 sovieticii împreună cu comuniştii din România au dat lovitura de graţie statului civilizat român, au înfiinţat raioanele, au desfiinţat judeţele. Evident au fost singurii care au avut această îndrăzneală incredibilă, să calce istoria României, au înfiinţat raioanele şi regiunile pe model sovietic şi odată cu înfiinţarea acestor raioane şi regiuni, au schimbat şi denumirea tradiţională a unor oraşe din România. Citiţi aici decretul pentru schimbarea numelui oraşului Braşov, în acela cu numele de oraşul Stalin.

Atunci când România cu kalaşnikovul la tâmplă era obligată să aduleze pe unul dintre cei mai mai criminali din istorie, pe Iosif Visarionovici Stalin s-au desfiinţat judeţele şi s-au înfiinţat raioanele şi regiunile pe model sovietic.

D.C. Giurescu: Da, chiar şi în Bucureşti aveam un raion Stalin. Raionul Stalin era, mi se pare, sectorul 1, astăzi.

R. T.: Dacă lucrul acesta va inspiră să rememoraţi evenimente recente, pe munţii Tâmpei, la Poalele Tâmpei în Braşov, era scris peste brazi Stalin. Cred că ştiţi cine mai scrie astăzi pe munţi, şi de unde se inspiră oamenii aceştia, atunci când desfiinţează judeţe, şi scriu nume pe munţi, în semn de omagiu pentru conducătorul iubit.

D.C. Giurescu: Ce se întâmplă acuma cu desfiinţarea judeţelor, v-am spus, se înscrie în două tendinţe foarte clare din ultimii ani. Pe de-o parte destrămarea teritorială a României, şi pe de altă parte ştergerea identităţii noastre ca români, să nu mai fim români. Şi iată să vă dau exemple:

Întâi: regiunile de dezvoltare. Acel faimos proiect, din păcate al UDMR-ului: 50.000 Km² , taie Transilvania în două, pe linia trasată de arbitrajul de la Viena din ’40. Acesta este un fapt.

Al doilea: statutul minorităţilor care se pregăteşte. Dacă se adoptă prin formulă magică a asumării răspunderii, vom crea zeci de autonomii teritoriale sub pretextul autonomiilor culturale. Autonomii teritoriale în Transilvania care vor face tranziţia de la cele trei judeţe-două jumătate, secuieşti, şi până la graniţa cu Ungaria.

Al treilea argument: legea arhivelor. Întoarcerea arhivelor la emitent! Dumneavoastră ştiţi ce înseamnă asta? Să le întorc unde? Emitentul a fost până în 1918 Ungaria sau Austria. Acolo le întorc? Eu cred că nu-şi dau seama oamenii de catastrofa pe care o pregătesc României.

R. T.: Această lege a fost deja adoptată…

D.C. Giurescu: De Senat, şi dacă se adoptă şi de Camera Deputaţilor înseamnă că eştergerea memoriei, fiindcă odată ce arhivele dispar din centru… Dacă le-aş propune Statelor Unite să întoarcă arhivele de la Arhivele Naţionale Centrale de la Washington DC la diferiţii emitenţi, eu cred că s-ar uita şi ar spune probabil că este un act de trădare naţională, de destrămare a unităţii Statelor Unite.

Al patrulea element: legea educaţiei. Suntem educaţi pe modă europeană în care 92% dintre elevii autohtoni au mai puţine drepturi decât 8% dintre elevii minoritari. Bine că au minoritarii drepturi, dar vreau ca şi ai mei să aibă aceleaşi drepturi!

Aceeaşi lege enumeră 22 de principii directoare, unul din principii este şi cultura, identitatea şi istoria românească, dar în lege nu se află nimic pentru promovarea acesteia. Mai mult decât atâta: finanţarea este favorizantă pentru minoritari, şi dacă sunt 10 elevi minoritari români într-un sat, desfiinţăm şcoala respectivă, dacă sunt zece minoritari într-un sat, facem o şcoală specială. Iată deci, ce înseamnă legea educaţiei europene… nu mai vorbesc deautonomia universitară, care acolo e proclamată cu litere groase, şi în realitate universităţile sunt supravegheate acuma cum nu au fost niciodată înainte, la alegerea rectorului şi a altora.

Al cincilea element: nu mai avem manual de istoria românilor. Elevii de clasa a XII-a au un manual pe care scrie Istorie, iar înăuntru e tranşată, ca la abator, istoria românilor pe teme mari,pe care le înţelege un om care cunoaşte istoria românilor, dar nu unul care trebuie s-o înveţe, fiindcă principiul cronologic a fost desfiinţat.

Al şaselea element: eu pot să insult acuma drapelul ţării, personalităţile marcante… În lege nu mai există incriminare penală pentru acest lucru, a simbolurilor naţionale. Fac ce vreau. Şi cu ce mă aleg? În cazul cel mai bun, dacă acţionează guvernul sau autoritatea, mă aleg cu o amendă.

Al şaptelea element: Am aflat cu stupoare că asociaţia culturală Forumul Românilor dinCovasna, Harghita şi Mureş nu primeşte un leu de la Guvern pentru acţiunile sale culturale.

R. T.: Forumul civic al românilor din Harghita, Covasna şi Mureş au dat în judecată Guvernul României în legătură cu stema comunei Ilieni, unde se vorbeşte de graniţă şi Ţinutul Secuiesc şi au câştigat împotriva Guvernului.

D.C. Giurescu: Aşa, şi Guvernul ce a făcut?

R. T.: A făcut recurs împotriva românilor din Harghita, Covasna şi Mureş.

D.C. Giurescu: Ei bravo! Suntem foarte „mari” în cazul ăsta! Guvernul care se împotriveşte românilor…

R. T.: Aceasta este Hotărârea de Guvern din 2010. În HG 402/2010 se vorbeşte despre Ţinut Secuiesc şi se vorbeşte despre graniţă, domnule academician, pentru că s-a spus că niciodată acest Ţinut Secuiesc nu este menţionat într-un document românesc. Din păcate, v-o spun cu mare regret, Guvernul României a emis un document care vorbeşte despre graniţa între Ţinutul Secuiesc…

D.C. Giurescu: Şi Ţara Bârsei… Extraordinar, extraordinar!

Al optulea element: Ora de istorie la televiziunea romană nu mai este. Astea sunt mărunţişuri acuma. Nu mai există pur şi simplu.

În al nouălea rând: Nu mai vorbesc despre desprinderea propagandistică, şi nu numai, mediatică, a celor două judeţe şi jumătate.

În al zecelea rând: Şi reforma sistemului sanitar. Despre asta ce să mai vorbesc?! Care poate să ducă foarte departe.

Peste toate – şi cu asta am terminat – e anularea Parlamentului. Asumarea răspunderii este o formulă extraordinară, ca să nu mai conteze Parlamentul. Vedeţi? Marea Adunare Naţională era mult mai logică decât Parlamentul de astăzi. Spunea Constituţia din ’65: „forţa conducătoare din Republica Socialistă România este Partidul Comunist Român” – monopolul puterii. Era clară puterea. Deputaţii votau aşa cum spunea Partidul. Acuma nu! Avem un regim, chipurile, pluralist şi, în schimb, ne asumăm răspunderea încât orice lege poate să treacă în momentul de faţă, fiindcă Guvernul beneficiază de o majoritate aritmetică, care nu mai corespunde în niciun fel cu opţiunile şi cu sentimentele populaţiei.

R. T.: Această nenorocită de asumare (îmi cer scuze pentru exprimare) seamănă cu votul la comandă care se exprima în Marea Adunare Naţională.

D.C. Giurescu: Da, dar acolo cel puţin era logic, că aveam un singur Partid.

R. T.: Era logica regimului.

D.C. Giurescu: Era logica regimului de atunci. Vedeţi, ştiţi ce se întâmplă acum cu noi? Un distins coleg de-al meu, mai tânăr, din Academie, a spus-o acum, recent: „Statul nu mai are voinţă, nu mai vrea să apere valorile fundamentale ale României“. Cu tot ce v-am înşirat, aşa ne taie în fiecare zi, şi cu fiecare măsură. Or, desfiinţarea acestor judeţe îmi taie mie însăşi baza existenţei locală. Nu se poate! Judeţele nu sunt o creaţie a lui Mircea cel Bătrân. Judeţele erau acolo şi Mircea le-a întărit. Nu sunt o creaţie a lui Carol I sau a lui Alexandru Cuza. Erau acolo şi domnitorul unirii şi fondatorul monarhiei le-a întărit.

R. T.: Şi dacă vreo minte rătăcită din actuala putere vrea să facă vreo reformă administrativă pe regiuni cu raţiuni economice, s-o facă, dar să nu desfiinţeze judeţele.

D.C. Giurescu: Culmea este că Uniunea Europeană nu ne cere această desfiinţare [a judeţelor].Este o mistificare grosolană, urâtă de tot: să spui oamenilor că UE ne cere aşa ceva. Dar nu este adevărat. Franţa şi-a menţinut zeci, sute de departamente, Germania la fel, Anglia la fel. Fiecare unitate teritorială cu numele ei este acolo, şi numai noi le desfiinţam.

R. T.: Ca să vă dau un argument; ştiu că v-a deranjat întotdeauna această procedură numită asumare, care personal n-o consider democratică şi nici dumneavoastră n-o agreaţi. Ea s-a mai întâmplat şi în multe alte cazuri. Veţi vedea că pentru modificarea teritorială a României, domnule academician Dinu C. Giurescu, există o lege, şi ea nu se poate face decât în cadrul acelei legi. Cine o face altcumva decât e scris în legea referendumului, încalcă această lege. Legea numărul 3 din 2000, care demonstrează, fără niciun fel de îndoială, ca actuala putere nu poate face modificarea administrativ teritorială a României prin asumare de Guvern, şi nu o poate face în Parlamentul României.

Iată ce spune legea numărul 3/2000: REFERENDUMUL ESTE OBLIGATORIU.

Legea nr. 3/2000 privind organizarea şi desfăşurarea referendumului

Art. 13 (3) Proiectele de lege sau propunerile legislative privind modificarea limitelor teritoriale ale comunelor, oraşelor şi judeţelor se înaintează Parlamentului spre adoptarenumai după consultarea prealabilă a cetăţenilor din unităţile administrativ-teritoriale respective, prin referendum. În acest caz organizarea refrendumului este obligatorie.

Art. 52 (1) Împiedicarea prin orice mijloace a liberului exerciţiu al dreptului de a participa la referendum se pedepseşte cu închisoare de la 6 luni la 5 ani şi interzicerea unor drepturi.

Cu alte cuvinte trebuie să se organizeze referendum în fiecare localitate şi în fiecare judeţ, să-şi întrebe cetăţenii. Dacă o fac prin asumare de Guvern şi nu organizează referendum în toate judeţele din România, sunt pasibili de închisoare, potrivit acestei legi, actualii guvernanţi.

D.C. Giurescu: Da, aşa este, dacă vor să aplice această lege; însă în ultimul timp, eu am asistat, nicio lege nu mai este valabilă. Uite asta este foarte clar. Ar trebui să mă întrebe pe mine în Bucureşti, pe cei care locuiesc în Braşov, în Constanţa, în Cluj, în Timişoara, oriunde, dacă vor să schimbe limitele judeţului, dacă vor să-l anuleze, sau dacă vor să se încadreze în alte limite teritoriale.

R. T.: Vedeţi? Există chiar o lege. Atât preşedintele cât şi primul ministru spun „noi am hotărât, vom modifica, o trecem prin Parlament şi gata“. Oamenii aceştia nu cunosc nici măcar legile acestei ţări, cei care ne conduc, dacă nu cunosc istoria.

D.C. Giurescu: Sau nu vor să o ia în seamă. Şi nu cunosc nici istoria. Ştiţi, asta este partea cea mai gravă: vor să ne şteargă memoria, vor să ne şteargă identitatea noastră. Prin toate aceste răsturnări, prin toate aceste acţiuni de buldozer pur şi simplu, vor să fiu ca frunza pe apă, că frunza este un simbol, să nu mai ştiu ce e cu mine, să fiu un fel de cetăţean aşa, al nimănui, care locuiesc într-o regiune desemnată printr-o cifră romană, şi care sunt încă o dată înscris printr-un indicativ numeric într-o listă. Asta este, fiindcă un om ca acela nu are decât nevoi imediate: trebuie să se ducă la mall, să cumpere o maşină şi să călătorească poate în străinătate, şi să se îmbrace bine. Asta este tot, dar în cazul ăsta România: adio! Aici este partea cea mai gravă. Prin desfiinţarea judeţelor îmi iei baza mea teritorială care de sute de ani există acolo.

Bunicul meu s-a născut în Buzău, şi judeţul Buzău există şi astăzi. De patru generaţii suntem buzoieni prin naştere. Ăla este primul loc. Îmi ştergi şi Buzăul? Ce fac? Unde sunt născut? În raionul Stalin din Bucureşti?

R. T.: Iată ce scrie istoricul Constantin C. Giurescu [tatăl d-lui academician Dinu C. Giurescu] înIstoria Românilor:

„Judeţele, ca subîmpărţiri administrative, sunt contemporane cu întemeierea statului.“

Mai departe:

“Prima menţiune despre judeţul Vâlcea o găsim în hrisovul din 8 ianuarie 1394, prin care Mircea cel Bătrân dăruieşte Mânăstirii Cozia, între altele, dijma din miere şi ceară a acestui judeţ“.

„Cea dintâi menţiune despre judeţul Ilfov o găsim în documentul de la 23 Martie 1482 în care e vorba de <>“

„Rezumând constatările făcute asupra vechilor judeţe din Ardeal, observăm că dacă multe din ele şi-au luat numele de la cetăţile în jurul cărora s-au dezvoltat, altele s-au numit după cursurile de apă pe care le străbăteau. O seamă dintre vechile denumiri româno-slave sau chiar anterioare acestora au fost păstrate (Maramureş, Bistriţa, Crasna, Timiş, Braşov) sau traduse din limba cuceritorilor (Târnava, Alba). Ele constituie încă un argument pentru continuitatea noastră în Ardeal, arătând lipsa de temei a teoriei potrivit căreia am fi venit în această ţară abia la sfârşitul secolului XII sau începutul secolului XIII“.

Acestea sunt argumentele esenţiale pe care Constantin C. Giurescu le oferă în Istoria românilor, argumente pentru judeţe, argumente pentru existenţa românilor pe aceste meleaguri, argumente care ne determină astăzi să pledăm pentru menţinerea acestor judeţe. Din această ediţie, pe care dumneavoastră personal aţi îngrijit-o, domnule academician ce aţi vrea să comentaţi?

D.C. Giurescu: Întâi vechimea lor dacă se poate. Subîmpărţirile lor [a judeţelor] sunt contemporane cu întemeierea statului. Dacă sunt contemporane cu întemeierea statului, înseamnă că în momentul când Basarab a adunat diferitele părţi şi a făcut Ţara Românească, sau când Alexandru cel Bun a întărit, a consolidat Moldova, el a aflat acolo judeţele şi ţinuturile respective. Ele sunt expreisia nevoilor populaţiei de pe valea unui râu, de pe valea celuilalt râu, din jurul unei cetăţi sau a unui târg important. La fel şi în Transilvania. Asta este![Judeţele] sunt o organizare naturală, normală, ivită din nevoile unei populaţii dintr-o zonă, şi nu dintr-un decret prezidenţial care le anulează sau le dă la o parte. Nu poţi să ştergi istoria cu buretele fiindcă vrei tu! Nu se poate acest lucru! Iar Constantin C. Giurescu înIstoria lui monumentală are un capitol special despre judeţele Ţării Româneşti. Din asta înţelegând şi cele ale Moldovei, şi cele din Regatul Transilvaniei.

R. T.: Aici este coperta cărţii lui Constantin C. Giurescu. Nu ştiu dacă mai este nevoie de argumente suplimentare, dar sunt cărţi, sunt tratate, sunt volume de istorie după care au învăţat sute de mii, poate milioane de elevi, de studenţi din România, mai puţin cei care ne conduc astăzi.

D.C. Giurescu: Da, şi el a scris şi două manuale, de clasa a V-a şi a VIII-a, care erau manuale standard până în 1944-1945, care au fost anulate după aceea. Le compari, acelea care erau manuale tot alternative, cu ceea ce este acuma şi vezi distanţa enormă, vezi de ce elevii, studenţii actuali fug de manualul de istorie. Simplu!

R. T.: Am găsit în aceleaşi resurse publice şi o hartă a judeţelor Valahiei, domnule academician. Am vrea să o arătăm şi celor care privesc Punctul de întâlnire şi să o discutăm puţin. Sunt denumiri care, din punctul meu de veder, stârnesc emoţii pentru cei care simt ceva pentru istorie.

D.C. Giurescu: Da, uitaţi-vă aici! Judeţul de Baltă: erau bălţile de lângă Dunăre. Judeţul Dolj:Dolj înseamnă Jiul de Jos. Judeţul Jaliştea, de asemenea, un altul. Motru: era râul Motru. Argeş, Dâmboviţa, Buzău, Râmnicul Sărat, Ialomiţa sunt pe malul unor râuri, Pădureţ din cauzapădurilor, Ilfov înseamnă Ţara Arinilor. Erau probabil foarte mulţi arini în zona aceasta.

R. T.: Vlaşca de care pomeneaţi…

D.C. Giurescu: Vlaşca este nume dat de vechii slavii, care au venit aici după anii 500-600 şi au găsit aici, la Giurgiu, în pădurile de acolo pe vlahi, pe valahi. Vlaşca înseamnă Ţara Valahilor şi cuceritoritorul slav, ocupantul slav de atunci a zis „da dom’le asta-i Vlaşca, e Ţara Valahilor” adică unde locuiau strămoşii noştri. Adică vedeţi că ei s-au constituit şi s-au format în mod natural în jurul unor puncte din astea, pe care acuma după 600 de ani le desfiinţam cu pixul sub motivări total false.

R. T.: M-a mişcat, trebuie să recunosc, acea afirmaţie din cartea tatălui dumneavoastră, faimosul istoric Constantin C. Girescu, în legătură cu pledoaria pentru judeţe, în zona Ardealului, şi aş vrea să revenim, dacă se poate în legătură cu acea afirmaţie.

Spune Constantin C. Giurescu: „existenta judeţelor este cle mai bun argument pentru faptul că noi am fost dintotdeauna prezenţi, în special în zona aceasta a Ardealului”, pe care mulţi o contestă, şi dacă astăzi vrem să desfiinţăm judeţele, mă gândesc cu înfrigurare, domnule academician, că cineva, probabil, când contestă judeţele şi le desfiinţează, următorul pas ar fi să conteste şi prezenţa noastră, sau românismul din Ardeal.

D.C. Giurescu: Da, bineînţeles, că am venit în secolul XII, XIII, asta este o veche temă de propagandă, neputând să conteste majoritatea absolută a românilor, au început să spună: „da, dar voi aţi venit după noi, şi noi am fost primii ocupanţi” şi alte teorii din acestea. În Ardeal, însăşi constituirea voievodatului Transilvaniei în cadrul regatului maghiar este un ecou al formei vechi de organizare, din vremea când românii conlocuiau cu slavii pe teritoriul Ardealului. Voievodatul, aşa cum a fost voievodatul Ţării Romaneşti. Asta e pe de-o parte.

Pe de altă parte sigur că au fost unele judeţe constituite de regalitatea maghiară care au ţinut seama fie de Târnava Mare şi Târnava Mică. Uite două judeţe: Maramureşul care exista atunci şi l-au constituit într-un comitat. Bihorul de asemenea. Sunt forme vechi de organizare pe care regatul maghiar, în momentul în când a încorporat Transilvania, le-a preluat şi le-a transformat în comitatele regatului. Şi mai târziu când Ungaria a făcut dualismul cu Austria, a reînfiinţat toate judeţele. Judeţele din Transilvania sunt judeţele care s-au constituit de-a lungul vremilor. Aşa de puternică era instituţia, încât au extins această instituţie a comitatelor, echivalentă cu judeţele, pe toată Ungaria mare, aceea din 1867.

R. T.: Văd atacurile care vin din partea extremiştilor maghiari; citesc această afirmaţie emoţionantă a lui Constantin C. Giurescu, tatăl dumneavoastră, care spune că „judeţele sunt o formă care demonstrează în Ardeal existenţa românilor dinainte de secolul XII”, şi o pledoarie pentru românism în această zonă esenţială pentru existenţa noastră ca stat; văd că se doreşte desfiinţarea judeţelor şi îmi dau seama că, după această discuţie extrem de periculoasă şi de care nu avem nevoie acuma în plină criză, pentru români, următoarea discuţie probabil va fi statul unitar român.

D.C. Giurescu: Da, păi e „normal”. Tot ce am înşirat până acuma, acei paşi mai mari sau mai mici pentru destrămarea unităţii teritoriale şi a demnităţii româneşti, merg toate ca un şuvoi către o singură ţintă, articolul 1 din Constituţie: România este stat naţional unitar, suveran, şi indivizibil. Asta le trebuie, asta vor să suprime. Şi suprimă în momentul în care în conştiinţele noastre, ale elevilor din liceu, a dispărut Istoria românilor ca materie de învăţământ. În momentul în care cetăţenii dintr-o urbe, nu mai au conştiinţă că sunt români, poate nici măcar că sunt bucureşteni sau braşoveni, ci aşa, suntem nişte cetăţeni care navigăm într-o regiune de dezvoltare, aşa 1,2,3, 4, sau 5.

R. T.: Să dea Dumnezeu să n-aveţi dreptate, domnule academician, dar mi-e teamă că experienţa uriaşă a dumneavoastră vă îndreptăţeşte să vă gândiţi la faptul că idea de stat unitar a României, şi modificare a Constituţiei va duce tocmai acolo.

D.C. Giurescu: Păi da, şi ca un corolar, va fi după acea renunţarea la ziua de 1 Decembrie, renunţarea la imnul statului, adică [la] Deşteaptă-te române, şi la alte lucruri. Toate merg în aceasi direcţie. Sunt însă, cum să vă spun, minţi care conduc şi care gândesc în felul acesta.

R. T.: Dacă doriţi să rememoraţi, sau să vedeţi pentru prima oară, cine au fost cei care au distrus judeţele României, ne întoarcem în 1950, să vă arăt o lege care a fost adoptată de Marea Adunare Naţională chiar în acel an, care reprezenta debutul obsedantului deceniu. Aş spune cel mai urât, şi cel mai trist, şi cel mai greu de suportat deceniu din istoria modernă a României. Legea nr. 5 din 1950, cea care desfiinţa judeţele României, şi o făcea sub conducere sovietică, o făcea Gheorghiu Dej, împreună cu bunul său prieten Iosif Visarionovici Stalin. Am postat pe blogul meu în integralitate această lege. Astăzi, la Punctul de Întâlnire am adus un extras:

Marea Adunare Naţională a Republicii Populare Române

În temeiul art. 38 din Constituţia Republicii Populare Române, văzând Hotărârea Consiliului de Miniştri nr. 935 din 31 august 1950, adoptă următoarea lege pentru raionarea administrativ-economică a teritoriului Republicii Populare Române.

Articolul 1. Fiţi foarte atenţi la acest articol 1, fiindcă seamănă foarte mult argumentaţia comuniştilor sovietici din anii ’50, din România, cu ceea ce oferă astăzi ca motivaţie, regimul Băsescu-Boc. Tot sub masca bunăstării economice şi a atragerii unor fonduri şi a cooperării dintre tot felul de persoane fizice şi juridice, sub aceeaşi motivaţie ne este propusă acum, ca şi atunci, desfiinţarea judeţelor. Iată aşadar ce spune acest articol 1:

„Pentru asigurarea dezvoltării industriei şi agriculturii, în scopul construirii socialismului şi a ridicării nivelului de trai al oamenilor muncii, pentru a înlesni cât mai mult apropierea aparatului de Stat de poporul muncitor, pentru a contribui cât mai temeinic la asigurarea rolului politic conducător al clasei muncitoare şi la întărirea alianţei clasei muncitoare cu ţărănimea muncitoare, TERITORIUL ROMÂNIEI SE ÎMPARTE ÎN: REGIUNI; ORAŞE; RAIOANE.

Regiunile din Republica Populară Română şi capitalele lor sunt:”

Giurescu: Am trăit acele vremuri şi când mi-aţi reamintit lucrul ăsta, îmi vine în minte acuma, ca pentru europenizarea României se desfiinţează judeţele, în vederea asigurării nivelului de trai, a creşterii bunăstării poporului, etc. etc. Este o similitudine absolut de negândit, aproape. E aceeaşi argumentare, numai că acelaşi Gheorgiu Dej a desprins România de sub tutela sovietică, pe când acuma nu ştiu ce se întâmplă.

R. T.: Domnule Dinu C. Gurescu, ce este de spus, ca un cuvânt final, despre desfiinţarea judeţelor?

D.C. Giurescu: Am sentimentul că sunt în 1940, în preajma prăbuşirii hotarelor noastre. E de spus numai că fiecare om trebuie să-şi dea seama că soarta lui personală, afară de beneficiarii regimului, depinde de ce se joacă acuma. Se joacă integritatea teritorială a României, se joacă stabilitatea ei, se joacă identitatea, sentimentului că eşti român, se joacă apărarea ţării. Statul de astăzi nu mai apară România. Statul de astăzi apară pe altcineva, dar nu obştea românească.

De aceea fiecare dintre noi, cu mijloacele pe care le are, trebuie să spună NU. „Nu!” – la ceea ce se pregăteşte în momentul de faţă, şi să revenim la tradiţiile noastre, să revenim la puterea noastră din totdeauna.

I'm so pissed off with the VERY website system and how their politics works. When I bought something from WHSmith I received a voucher for Very with £30 off when you spend £60 or more on the first order. On top the website states that for new customers they apply 10% off on their first order. Finally I decided to buy something from them. I opened an account, I got an email saying they gave me a credit of £500 and to enjoy my shopping. On the checkout surprise, surprise.. none of the vouchers worked. It’s been going on for nearly a weeks since we go back and forth explaining to them that I meet all the requirements for a voucher like this and it should work.

This is my first order as I just subscribed to very.co.uk . I received the voucher and I am the account holder so all is on my name. All the items in my basket are not on sale and they are still in stock. At checkout I added the code and clicked submit and I got the message “T6MHA - This offer code is only valid on a first order” . Even if I go to enter the bank details there is no £ 30 deducted from my bill. The voucher is valid until 31 Dec 2011 .

The explanation they gave me is : Unfortunately 1st order codes sometimes do not work automatically via the system due to mis-use. Only selected customers who have been targeted for the code are eligible to use it . The only way to apply it to your order is if we do it manually, which we can only do once you have received the goods and have chosen to keep them because if we do this before and you choose to return the items then it would result in an over-credit.

Come on how hard can it be to order online, since the system it’s pretty much the same everywhere.

The nerve this people have!! They asked me to carry on with my shopping and call some 0800 number to guide me. Who would believe them when their vouchers with terms and policies are not respected, imagine if they do something outside the agreement what are the chances they will apply some promised words, once they got their money. I’m so furious with them.

This is a lottery, because no one knows who is eligible to use the Very voucher!

Great post here which brings the 10 commandments written by an atheist Penn Jillette.. the conclusion is that there is no need of religion to be good.. we are good by nature, for example look at the people that are from different religions, or the ones that have no religions whatsoever.. they are good because it's in us. This brings me to Steven Weinberg quote "Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

- post absolventi ca doctori, dentisti, medic familie, trainers

Pentru ca in ultima vreme primesc mailuri de la tot felul de oameni in care sunt intrebata ce trebuie facut pentru un roman sa ajunga sa lucreze, locuiasca sau sa studieze in Anglia, voi scrie cateva posturi dedicate acestui subiect, in functie de cerinte.

Tot ce voi scrie aici se va baza pe propriile mele experiente, informatii dupa site-uri relevante din uk, precum si din experientele celor pe care i-am cunoscut aici.

Inainte de a pleca din tara ar fi bine sa va procurati urmatoarele:
- adeverinta medicala ce atesta ca sunteti sanatosi
- cazier
- sa aveti pasaport valid - ce nu urmeaza sa expire in urmatoarele luni
- buletin valid - ce nu urmeaza sa expire in urmatoarele luni
- diplome de scoala in original
- orice alta diploma de calificare aveti in original
- 4 poze tip pasaport
- recomandari scrise de la locul de munca precedent

Si eventual copie xerox dupa fiecare din documentele de mai sus care trebuie aduse in original. Va spun asta pentru ca peste tot aici va tb sa folositi originalul, iar in caz ca ramaneti descoperiti pentru o perioada sa aveti copia in xerox si de altfel sa evitati sa mai cheltuiti pentru scanat sau printat aici, unde variaza de la 5p alb negru pana la 50p color pt un A4, si 6 lire pentru 6 poze pasaport. Sa nu va faceti griji ca vor trebui traduse pentru ca nu trebuie decat daca vreti sa le echivalati ulterior ceea ce va trebui facut in UK.

Din moment ce Romanii si Bulgarii inca nu au drept de munca in UK desi de la 1 Ianuarie 2007 avem drept de sedere pana la 3 luni fara acte, in caz ca vreti sa stati mai mult va trebui sa va intregistrati la autoritatea britanica de emigrare, Home Office de unde veti cere sa obtineti autorizatie de munca pentru UK, sau permis de munca cum e mai des numit.

Exista 3 tipuri de carduri in functie de joburile permise in UK.

1. Purple work cards care incep cu seria G si H (aka Accession worker card) sau pink card
2. Yellow registration certificates aka yellow card
3. Blue registration certificates aka blue card

I had to call for rescue as this creature had no plans of moving soon and judging buy the size of it, I wouldn't have dared to even get closer not to mention to place it into a glass to get it out.. the spider buster came in a hurry and solve the problem..

Un punct în Univers. Un punct pe o linie a infinitului. Încetul cu încetul se transformă: se măreşte, începe să strălucească, devine lumină. Hipnotizat parcă, te îndrepţi cu paşi rari şi nesiguri, dar cu certitudine către acest punct care te cheamă parcă, te ademeneşte. Orice fibră a fiinţei tale se opune anunţată fiind de un presentiment izvorât din neant. Şi totuşi ştii că este lucrul pe care l-ai aşteptat toată viaţa. Scopul existenţei tale. Te îndrepţi cu sfială spre el şi-l vezi făcându-ţi semn cu mâna. Ştii că te îndrepţi spre pierzanie şi nu poţi să eviţi drumul, să-ţi convingi paşii să îşi schimbe direcţia. Te apropii, ştii că nu mai ai nici o alternativă şi te îndrepţi cu hotărâre spre acel Punct, care te mângâie ca o rază de soare. În cele din urmă întinzi mâna şi îl atingi. O euforie nemăsurată te cuprinde şi simţi că în acel moment TRÃIEŞTI. Sentimentul se prelungeşte şi ţi se pare că ai trait un veac într-o clipă. Ai vrea să continue la nesfârşit…dar totul se încheie mult prea brusc. Punctul se stinge, iar tu rămâi singură, cu tristeţe în inimă. Nu ştii ce a fost, cum a început, cum s-a sfârşit. Simţi că ai trăit…şi ai murit. Nimic nu mai are sens. Totul s-a sfârşit. Rămâi un nume pe o foaie de hârtie. Un mort în viaţă…ca atâţia alţii. Nimic special, nimic nou, doar mecanismul locomotor. Din când în când un sentiment mai zvâcneşte în tine pentru a-ţi reaminti, ca un cuţit care redeschide o rană, că ai trăit…cândva.

Un tânăr elev care a susținut examenul de Bacalaureat a postat pe Facebook o scrisoare de revoltă la adresa profesorilor, elevilor, politicienilor și a mass-mediei din România pentru catalogarea unei întregi generați drept “Generația Facebook” sau “Generația Etnobotaniștilor”.

Această scrisoare de protest s-a răspândit rapid pe internet şi a reunit mai mulţi tineri care împărtăşesc aceeaşi opinie. Ei acsistemul de învăţământ şi susţin că rezultatele examenului de Bacalaureat din acest an reprezintă o oglindă fidelă a realităţilor româneşti.

"Generaţia rataţilor! Generaţia etnobotanistilor! Generaţia idioţilor! Generaţia facebook! - aşa ne cataloghează mass media şi opinia publică din întreaga ţară în zilele acestea pe toţi care am dat Bacalaureatul - eu le spun doar atât - RUSINE! Ruşine tuturor!

Ruşine pentru că aţi ajuns să daţi vina pe o generaţie crescută de voi, arătată cu degetul acum tot de către voi! Ruşine sistemului care ne-a crescut! Ruşine modelelor care ne sunt promovate de mai bine de 20 de ani încoace! Ruşine nouă, vouă, profesorilor, elevilor, politicienilor, mass-mediei, ROMÂNIEI!

Am ajuns după 20 de ani de şpagă, de modele gen Becali, Tălmăcean şi Bianca Drăguşanu, de învăţământ prost manageriat, de legi prost făcute să profite cei puternici, de facultăţi pe pile şi pe bani din care au ieşit generaţii întregi de dascăli care ne-au educat pe noi, cei idioţi şi fraieri cei care ne aflam acum în aceeaşi oală, indiferent dacă ne-am luat sau nu BAC-ul, am ajuns la o limită!

Nu mai suportam! Refuzam sa credem că suntem o generaţie pierdută! Suntem defapt prima generaţie care va fi sacrificat cu folos, şi asta deoarece ne-am saturat de ce se întâmplă în ţara asta! Totul trebuie să înceteze! Pentru asta vom ieşi în strada şi vom cere dreptate! Cerem ajutorul oamenilor corecţi, ajutorul moral de care avem nevoie pentru a progresa! Toată lumea este acum şocată de rezultatul Bacalaureatului şi implicit de învăţământul romanesc. Ohh, dar ce surpriză! Cât de neaşteptat! Ce şoc! INCREDIBIL! SENZAŢIONAL!

Adică din aceşti copii care din `99 până acuma li s-a schimbat programa de n`spe ori, care au intrat la liceu să dea bac din geografie şi s-au trezit în a 12-a că dau din fizica, aceşti copii care au văzut zi de zi la televizor cum este încurajată prostia şi incultura alături de băieţi cu bani făcuţi fraudulos înconjuraţi de curve semi-îmbrăcate în direct la televizor, aceşti copii bătuţi de soartă că s-au născut într-o ţară ca asta, o ţară în care e mai important ce chiloţi are Crudu decât rezultatele sportive şi intelectuale ale tarii, aceşti copii nu au devenit nişte genii eminesciene??? Serios??? Aceşti copii nu au intelect nici măcar cât Einstein??? DOAMNE! CE NERUŞINARE!! Mai nemernici etnobotanisti!!! Cum puteţi mai gunoaielor, mai loazelor să nu învăţaţi şi să intraţi fără pile şi copiat la facultăţi când aveţi atâtea modele demne de urmat??? CUM E POSIBIL O ASEMENEA DEPRAVARE? Adevărul e că de 20 de ani ne aşteptam sa iasă nişte flori de nufăr în locuri în care nu am aruncat nici măcar seminţe de urzica! Asta e realitatea! Va uimeşte promovabilitatea de la BAC? Dar de cea de la titularizări de ce nu ziceţi nimic? Ei nu-s loaze, etnobotanisti? E posibil sa iei 1.20 la titularizare şi sa te mai consideri profesor? E posibil sa iei diploma frauduloasa la Spiru Haret si sa educi apoi generaţii întregi? Ştiaţi ca 25% din toţi profesorii actuali au studiile făcute la Spiru Haret? Sau asta nu e important pentru voi? Ştiaţi că suntem pe penultimul loc din Europa şi la egalitate cu Congo la nivelul învăţământului? Şi asta nu de acuma, de un an-doi ci de aproape două decenii!!! Aşadar, de ce va miraţi? Dupa decenii de cercetari si miliarde de euro cheltuite, doua echipe de fizicieni au anuntat aproape simultan descoperirea cea mai asteptata din fizica: existenta particulei lui Dumnezeu, sau bosonul Higgs, scrie The Independent, in editia sa online.

Cercetatorii americani de la Fermilab au anuntat duminica ca este foarte probabil sa fi detectat misterioasa particula, la doua zile dupa ce fizicienii de la CERN (organizatia Europeana pentru Cercetari Nucleare), din Geneva, au anuntat si ei ca au obtinut date care le permit sa concluzioneze, cu o mica doza de neincredere, ca au reusit sa "vada" bosonul mult cautat.

Fizicienii de la Fermilab, din Illinois, Statele Unite, nu sunt, poate, la fel de cunoscuti ca omologii lor europeni care au atras atentia mass media si nu numai din cauza "prezicatorilor" apocalipsei, cand acceleratorul de particule (Large Hadron Collider) a fost pornit in 2008.

Americanii de la Fermilab au propriul accelerator de particule (i-a costat 10 miliarde de dolari), cunoscut ca Tevatron, cu ajutorul caruia accelereaza raze de protoni si antiprotoni, la viteze apropiate de cea a luminii.

Ambele echipe de cercetatori accelereaza particule pentru a crea coliziuni intre ele, la energii inalte, ciocniri care ar putea produce misteriosul boson Higgs.

Acest "obiect" sub-atomic este singurul element neobservat pana acum din cele prezise de teoria fizicii particulelor sub-atomice cunoscuta ca Modelul Standard. De aici si supranumele sau, "particula lui Dumnezeu".

Daca existenta sa poatew fi dovedita, va confirma teoria Modelul Standard, care explica de ce unele elemente din Univers au masa, in timp ce altele, cum ar fi lumina, nu. Cercetatorii considera ca problema nu este crearea bosonului Higgs, ci mai degraba observarea sa.

Vineri, 22 iulie, fizicienii de la CERN au anuntat ca au detectat, in sfarsit, primele semne, in datele colectate in urma coliziunilor de particule, anunt urmat de unul asemanator, duminica, 24 iulie, din partea americanilor de la Fermilab.

Desi anuntulul facut la conferinta Europhysics, din Grenoble, Franta, a fost unul extrem de entuziast, va dura cel putin o luna pana cand informatiile vor putea fi verificate. Pentru moment, cercetatorii incearca sa-si tempereze entuziasmul si spun ca ceea ce au deocamdata sunt mai degraba "indicii", iar ceea ce ei considera acum a fi semne ale existentei bosonului Higgs, ar putea fi eliminat in procesul de filtrare a datelor.

Exista totusi o atmosfera plina de optimism in lumea cercetatorilor, tinand cont de faptul ca doua echipe diferite au obtinut aproape in acelasi timp date similare, ceea ce ar sublinia ca Modelul Standard este corect, iar miliardele de dolari si euro pentru construirea uriaselor laboratoare nu au fost cheltuite in zadar. Echipa de la Fermilab va fi probabil cea mai fericita, avand in vedere ca acceleratorul de la Geneva este mai nou si mai puternic decat Tevatron, care va fi de altfel inchis in septembrie, insa nu fara a contribui decisiv la imbunatatirea cunoasterii universului.

Dar poate cel mai fericit de descoperirea particulei va fi profesorul Peter Higgs, fizicianul care a propus si al carui nume a si fost dat bosonului care da masa materiei. Acum in varsta de peste 80 de ani, Higgs a vorbit despre aceasta particula sub-atomica acum mai bine de patruzeci ce ani, cand era un tanar profesor la Universitatea din Edinburgh. Aproape nimeni nu l-a luat in serios atunci. Chiar si editorul unei importante publicatii stiintifice, care avea legaturi cu CERN, a avut mari indoieli legat de publicarea teoriei. Aspecte privind orele de lucru si echilibrul munca-viata personala pe piata muncii din Romania au fost surprinse in studiul "Calitatea ocuparii si angajarea cu salarii mici" realizat de Biroului National Sindical. Citeste mai jos concluziile raportului.

Programul de lucru pentru angajatii din Romania este unul complet in 99% din cazuri si fix pentru 87,5% din cazuri.

Numai 1% din angajati isi pot stabili programul de lucru si 11% isi pot stabili modul de lucru. Numai 8% din angajati isi pot modifica in mod obisnuit cu 1 ora programul de lucru.

36,5% din angajati presteaza munca atipica (lucreaza seara, noaptea, sambata, duminica). Astfel, 16% din angajati lucreaza frecvent seara si 8% lucreaza frecvent noaptea; 21% din angajati au lucrat 2 sau mai multe sambete in ultima luna (raportat la momentul administrarii chestionarului), iar 10,4% au lucrat 2 sau mai multe duminici in ultima luna. Aceste procente mari vin in contradictie cu inflexibilitatea programului, se arata in raportul "Calitatea ocuparii si angajarea cu salarii mici" al Biroului National Sindical.

52,2% dintre cei care presteaza munca atipica apreciaza ca aceasta nu este convenabila pentru viata lor personala. Ponderea femeilor afectate este mai mare (55,4%) decat a barbatilor (49,9%).

28% din angajati lucreaza in schimburi. Dintre acestia, mai putin de jumatate se considera afectati de acest mod de lucru (46,5%).

18,6% din angajati fac in mod frecvent ore suplimentare, cel mai adesea neremunerate.

Cand intersectam raspunsurile la intrebarea privind frecventa orelor suplimentare cu cele de la intrebarea privind remunerarea orelor suplimentare, vom observa ca 31,3% dintre cei care efectueaza des ore suplimentare nu sunt deseori platiti pentru ele, iar alti 37,5% uneori nu sunt platiti pentru ele. Dintre cei care nu sunt deseori platiti pentru ore suplimentare, 67,7% lucreaza in mod obisnuit ore suplimentare.

I had to use a jpg eventually.. another thing is for vertical alignment without not having the option for centered.. I don't like the width: 50%; vertical-align: middle; is not doing what I want with the margins and padding I want!!

Daca te nasti gaina, nu poti ajunge vultur!

Intr-o zi, plimbandu-se prin padure, un om gasi un pui de vultur abia iesit din gaoace. Dandu-si seama ca daca l-ar fi lasat acolo, singur si parasit, l-ar fi condamnat la moarte sigura, omul lua puiul acasa si-l puse intr-un cotet, impreuna cu niste pui de gaina.

Puiul de vultur crescu alaturi de acestia si, bineinteles, invata sa se poarte ca o gaina: scormonea pamantul pentru a gasi viermi si insecte, manca semintele pe care i le dadea stapanul, cloncanea si cotcodacea, iar daca batea din aripi nu se ridica mai mult de cateva zeci de centimetri.

Au trecut astfel cateva luni, timp in care vulturul nu se indoi nici o clipa ca locul lui ar fi altundeva decat in curtea stapanului, printre celelalte gaini. Mai mult, era convins ca el insusi este o gaina.
Pana cand, intr-o zi, privind spre cerul albastru si fara nori, vazu un alt vultur planand maiestuos, aproape fara a-si misca aripile robuste…

Vulturul a inteles dintr-o data care este adevarata lui natura. Si-a dat seama ca nu exista obstacole care sa-l impiedice sa zboare, in afara de cele din mintea lui, si, dupa cateva tentative, s-a ridicat in zbor spre infinit, intr-adevar liber.
Si acum, efectul pe care intamplarea aceasta l-a avut asupra celorlalti locuitori ai curtii…

Dupa ce au vazut ca fostul lor tovaras de joaca si de seminte si-a luat zborul, pierzandu-se in imensitatea cerului, multe din gaini au devenit constiente de trista lor situatie si au inceput sa viseze sa devina vulturi.
Incepura sa circule, la inceput aproape clandestin, apoi mai deschis, niste filosofii ciudate care argumentau ca fiecare gaina avea inauntrul sau un vultur care astepta sa fie eliberat. Conditia de gaina nu este decat rezultatul unor credinte limitante”, sustineau niste gaini-profete, “schimbati credintele si cerul va fi al vostru”.

Aparusera tot felul de carti in domeniu, cu titluri gen “Cum sa devii un vultur in 30 de zile”, “Vulturocibernetica “, “Analiza vulturactionala” , “Minunile zborului”, “Declanseaza vulturul din tine” s.a.m.d.

Pentru cei care aveau bani de cheltuit, aparusera si seminarii (de Programare Galinolingvistica) si cursuri audio si video, unde se invata cum sa vizualizezi lumea vazuta de sus, cum sa recunosti sunetele celorlalte pasari (sa te pui in raport), cum sa percepi senzatia vantului in aripile tale (condita de vultur nu poate fi atinsa fara concentrare asupra canalelor senzoriale potrivite).

Mai interesant, aparuse si o metoda de analiza (gainogramma), care depista 9 feluri de a fi gaina, si in consecinta 9 drumuri diferite spre a deveni vultur. Aparusera si niste tehnici, cum ar fi Echilibrul Gainoemotional si CFT (chicken freedom technique), care te invatau ce se intampla daca apesi pe niste puncte de pe cap si piept spunand “Iubesc si respect aripile mele”, si anume ca iti va trece frica de inaltime (principalul obstacol in drumul de dezvoltare spre conditia de vultur).

O gaina mai intreprinzatoare decat celelalte puse la cale un sistem de multilevel marketing care consta intr-un complex sistem de puncte care se obtineau vanzand cursuri si seminarii celorlate gaini, argumentand ca ridicarea in ierarhia sistemului era metoda cea mai sigura pentru a se apropria de starea de vultur. Cine frecventa un numar suficient de cursuri putea sa devina “gainocoach certificat”, si ii ajuta pe ceilalti sa mearga mai rapid pe drumul dezvoltarii.

Iar atunci cand cineva, in lipsa totala a unor rezultate concrete, isi exprima indoielile asupra sensului pe care l-ar avea toata treaba asta, era imediat acuzat – din partea celor mai exaltati si convinsi – ca este stapanit de credinte limitante si blocat de gandul negativ. Mai ales, i se repeta continuu: “Aminteste-ti de fostul nostru tovaras, care dupa o viata de gaina a putut sa zboare; pune angajament si credinta, si o sa reusesti si tu.”

Ultimele stiri din cotet confirma ca niste gaini s-au imbogatit, altele tot cauta tehnica potrivita pentru a se ridica in zbor, si altele asteapta venirea Marelui Gaina care ii va scoate din conditia lor.

Dar niciuna nu s-a mai ridicat de la pamant mai mult decat niste zeci de centrimetri…

Done, finally.. by a very nice nurse.. it didn't hurt at all.. from what I read the jabs can be pretty expensive even covered by NHS as an administration fee might be required, but to be honest some of them on their website are for free.

Our GP is not one of those clinics that offer travel vaccines so it cost us £14.50 each for 2 vaccines for tetanus, diphtheria and polio, typhoid, hepatitis A and some combined vaccines, such as combined hepatitis A and B . In 6-12months we must go for a booster so in January or June 2012 we have to go back.

Do not go to one of those Travel Clinics as you will end up paying easily £45 per dose.

TO outline or NOT the fonts

To create a booklet probably you all know you need to create a file to send to the printer, but other then the one you are working on.. well here is where I need to go to.. in 2005 I started doing the layout in CorelDraw and Illustrator and every time I had to convert the text to either curves or outlines on each page. Now pretty much everyone works with PDFs. That's because there is no need to convert the text to outline as the new PDF formats (x1-x4) have been created to support transparency, gradients, and embed fonts. The first flattens the effects. They can be open with Acrobat 4 and above. The later versions can even support live transparency. There have been few good discussions about this if we should or shouldn't outline the text. Since the PDF X-1 can flatten the transparency and outline while doing this and embed the fonts so that everything can be open on with an Acrobat 4 version then this is safe on the other end of the printer. No real need to convert any text. However there are some fonts restricted from being embedded that Adobe does not support. On outline they get distorted, mainly visible on an offset printer. There are 2 tricks for outline text while flattening a transparency for a PDF in CS2, CS3, CS4, but CS5 doesn't not work on the same hackery as Dov calls it, but he came with one similar that works for CS5.
